  3. Just a glimpse of what it will be and it seems amazing! I found myself playing around for hours with just a basic alpha tool... :-) And about the roughness Sonk, since the vol.sculpting tools will be anew, hopefully Andrew will address the issue.Still too early to say though.

  6. Nice to see the new beta. Do i miss somehing here.It seems there is no more the panel for merging the retopo mesh into scene, export it as raw object, clear mesh e.t.c. I didnt find how to merge vertices. Symmetry seems great. I just saw it now.Dont know if it was there. It seems that making cylinder retopo mesh with the splines, creates a mesh with much more polygons than before. I dont know if this was in purpose, but it was better with fewer polygons. As far as importing a BIG mesh, I always run out of memory (2GB) so i cant test it. *EDIT: I was refering to retopo symmetry of course
  7. I have gathered things I wants to say here, not to create many posts in different forum categories.So here I go: 1. Does the texture space that a polygon has, affects the detail it can get at all? Because I have this feeling. 2.I have added some detail on a model.Afterwards I go to fill the object with some pattern, and whenever I see the model through the preview window (not actualy filling the object) , the detail on the model seems a lot better. Why is that and is there a way to get that better detail? 3.Erasing on layer 0 doesnt seems to work to me. :-/ 4. "preserve positions" on some loaded models doesnt seem to work.Is there a work around other than adding edge loops on the model before importing? 5. If I am correct, you can not hide polygons by "polygon islands" (XSI naming) or polygroups (zbrush naming)? It would be great to be able to. 6. Does the carcass resolution affects the detail if I am not going to sculpt anything (with sculpt tool)? 7. I have imported several objects in the scene.How can I merge their UVs as well?   8. Ok...Here is my feedback. The retopologize tool looks great so far.Easy and fast.Some more features could be added to it, but fixing whats allready there is more important to me at least. I tried the beta at my 2 computers: AMD 64, 2GRAM, Nvidia 7600 GT The OGL version doesnt even start showing the common error window The Direct version start but doest work correctly.I cant create a polygon sometimes, and other times when i manage to do so, the extrude polygon doesnt snap on surface corectly at certain angles of the camera(?) IntelCoreDuo, 2GRAM, Nvidia 8600 GT The OGL version runs. The tools work just corect. On both my PC though, there are the following issues: Some meshes load up with holes (deleted polygons) diferent at each time. Baking the retopo mesh on my Intel PC, comes up with cheker like artifacts. Both pc run on Windows XP 32 The tool looks great so far.. Im looking forward for the fixes! :-)
  9. Site is looking great. Logo does not...sorry as well as the 3d-brush name is FAR better than 3d-gem wich for me is no good. If you can keep 3DBRUSH name please do it.. Eitherway...new website is great!

  11. Are you talking about 3D morphin? If thats the case Lightwave is no special about it..You just need to have the base mesh and the morph targets (meshes). There should be a tool in lightwave for the transitions.(I use XSI)
  12. About that tablet feature: When I first ran new beta, I realized I was able to pan with my tablet and could realy tell why...Until now that I see the post.. ALT+LMB+RMB is very usefull... I am a tablet ser of course :-)
