  1. I think the shape tools pointed out was the same as the youtube link. it looks very interesting and fast. btw, where's the closeness button in voxel curves?
  2. cool video. very informative with sculpting workflow. thanks.
  3. I think if using quad core there's little diff for now. Maybe some more optimization with cuda 3dc and it will be good. but I wonder why cuda and not opencl.
  4. haha. sorry. the 3dc bug report is blocked in the office. i'll attach a text file.
  5. great. i'm seriously considering getting a mac to use both mac and win appz. That's a cool video. Very clear. Which vid cap software are you using for the mac?
  6. so expensive. its only 192000yen http://kakaku.com/item/00209017459/. Are you using 3dc in macbook? what other 3d appz do you run in macbook that's as good as pc?
  7. hmmm..cuda doesn't support my 7300go that's why. http://www.nvidia.com/object/cuda_learn_products.html so does it mean I can't use 3dc in my laptop at all? crashes the instant i hit the voxel button not even giving me the chance to disable cuda.
  8. yep installed that before. CudaSetup-win32-rel-nightly-2.1.1635-3046817 180.60_CUDA_XP_beta
  9. getting error in my laptop. and issue in my desktop in previous page. so can't use a42 on desktop and laptop.
  10. Same thing happens to me. This is what I was asking about cuda compatibility. Different brands, different models, different os. I used it on leadtek winfast 8400gs with winxp32. I'll try it on my laptop with a 7300go.
  11. some people are still using director here for interactive cd. very good imho.
  12. Looking forward to those tutorials. 20 years real sculpting experience is a great resource. I'm playing with the tools. The part where I'm having difficulty is getting sharp edges or pointy parts in 3d sculpting.
  13. I meant in general. I haven't seen anyone use 3dc to make a full scene sculpt. Amazing.
  14. Which tools in voxel are you finding very useful? fill, clay, airbrush? I'm not that advance in 3d sculpting to know the difference yet.
  15. very cool video. almost missed it. will that be in the alpha soon?
  16. Your work are always excellent. I think you're a real sculptor in real life not just a 3d sculptor.
  17. I think making 3dc do all things 3d is making it bloatware. Andrew should concentrate more on performance and voxel with practical use outside of 3dc which is voxel simplification. Another urgent feature was to paint on low poly non subd models. 3dc will lose customers if adobe makes cs4 better since now it can paint directly on 3d models even if it sucks in the current version.
  18. I think the primitives will be easy to implement. I hope voxel simplification is successful. Its been a long time since andrew mentioned it but he also posted he has it coded already. Really don't want to end up with messy voxel meshes exported out of 3dc.
  19. I hope voxel simplification is soon. Not everyone wants static high poly mesh. Retopo takes long for complex model. Btw, do all nvidia cards support cuda?
  20. That's cool! I hope you reach +1000 by the end of this year. Voxel painting is getting so good I can't wait for a stable version. I'm definitely upgrading no matter what. sell or dont sell to corporate types but I would prefer newtek to buy 3dc.
  21. what a shame he used those images to advertise his product!
