  1. Ztreem great suggestion! It works exactly the way I want. The only thing is that the model still seems to be alittle smoothed but nothing too bad Thanks a lot
  2. I'm working with 6800GT 256 Mb. 3DC runs fine, even with 4096 texture.
  3. Thank you Andrew . By the way, it seems that I can have the same visual effect that I have in Silo simply changing to Sculpt mode . Looking forward to have carcass "0-step" . Cheers
  4. Hi Andrew, here the last update: Well, this is my frst attempt to 3D Paint and Sculpt, so I started with just the paint one. I'll need several normal map details but I'm going to make them in a second step. I prefer not to confuse me painting both at the same time. The screen that I posted is from Silo Viewport that let's me view just the low-poly model without any subdivision. About this I have a question for you, Andrew: is there any chance to import a model rough, without even just the first step for the carcass (as I've done in this case) or to have smoothing groups also without smoothing the objects? Thanks .
  5. Hi again, after several attemps to solve the problem of sharp edges and UV Paint here I started painting the piarate's boots: Cheers
  6. Thank you Andrew! I'll try it immediately
  7. Hi there, I'm experiencing a visual problem when painting. Here is a screen shot: As you can see it appears just on some UV set, those that are in coincidence. I've made this in order to optimize the uv space. I've verified that this is just a visual problem cause exporting the texture I have no problem. The fact is that if I paint over these spots they disappear, but come back when I close 3DC and load the model again. A can work but it's a little annoying. Cheers.
  8. Thanks Andrew . Well, at the moment I imported the model with the lower carcass level without smooth in order to paint directly on the low-poly model. For sculpting I'll use another carcass detail level. Cheers
  9. Hi folks, here is my first WIP with 3DC. I'm working on a little scene, both for little enviroment and character modeling (most character) for my low-poly reel. The concept is this one: The pirate face in the model has changed in order to achieve more "pirateness" . Here is the model colored, waiting for start painting details and sculpt: See you soon with updates . Cheers.
  10. Thanks Digman, I discovered that just 5 minutes ago. Next time I'll study better before asking .
  11. Hi everybody, finally yesterday I had some time to study and painting something in 3DC. I did a forum search to see if someone asked these features before but it seems not exactly. I was wondering if could be possible to have two differents ways of managing paint blending: - Layer blending (actually the only option) - Brush blending: having the possibility to choose which blending to use when painting in a layer. This way will let you paint with different blending options without having to change the option to the whole layer (as it's possible in Photoshop). Combining these two options would give you more freedom. Another thing that would be nice, I don't know if someone asked before, would be having also the options "Merge Visible" and "Merge All". Thanks in advance Andrew for the excellent work your doing . PS: Changing also the layer's name would be interesting . Cheers
  12. Hello Andrew, thanks for post a comment about this. You've not offended me at all. As you can read I'm pretty much happy with 3DBrush. The explanation you've told me is exaclty what I was refferring to: instead of putting a deadline which would be not real why not simply say that in the near future, due to development and distributor costs, the price will grow up, so better get the chance now. I'm convinced you're a correct person but people don't know you so, perhaps, better a little bit more of clarity . Cheers. The Captain
  13. Hi Andrew, first of all, thanks a lot for developing this tool which let us spending less and having great fun and good work. I discover 3DBrush and I buy it immediately for its features. I discover it just 3 days before the 15th of February, so I had very little time to test it completely (something I'm doing in these day due to the really competitive price). What I see now is that the deadline date has changed. As I said I'm completely satisfied by the program. However it's seems to me no too correct to change the deadline just the last day. This because doing that way you're inviting people to buy it by saying that price will no longer be the same after the dealine (obviously would be highier) when in the end it's not changed. I would suggest you to at least declare it on the home page. This is my humble opinion. Thanks again and have a nice day . The Captain
