This is great news I am glad I came here to see what is up. I was looking at Substance Painter but I don't see a need for it now since I saw this thread, keep up the good work Andrew.

Nice work Leigh it has been a while since I was back here..

Changes are it's creating a new "folder" in said panels. Try clicking the little arrow (it's TINY!!) in the top right corner of the panels to see if the folder exists there.
Much thanks that is where it was. I never noticed that until you mentioned it. You learn something new everyday.

Added arches on the side of the tunnel + a relief done in 3d Coat
in twenty minutes. It is very rough but it may suit this kind of place.
I have not been back in a while that is really cool! Nice job..

For a good while now I have been standing at a desk with regular sitting intervals.
Another thing that most CG artists and general computer folks don't do - Regular EXERCISE! I know that's a bad word for most computer nerds, but it can be the difference between becoming obese and/or having many other health issues (including diabetes, poor eyesight, neck, back, hip or leg pain, RSI, and so much more) or staying fit and healthy. Just my two bits.
Come on now lifting your Wacom pen is not exercise? LOL That is a good point thou.
Nice job on the skulls Leigh..

Nice javis!! I actually did a shoe design a couple of years ago in Lightwave but 3DC would have been great to use for it..
I'm very happy to announce my newest 3D-Coat training video, Voxel Sculpting|Running Shoe! This video is a culmination of months worth of research and exploring (in close communication with the design team at a large shoe design/manufacturing firm) if 3D-Coat can be used in a more design and rapid prototyping environment. Safe to say, I think it is well suited for such a thing. Andrew Shpagin, the developer of 3D-Coat, has added some new functionality to 3D-Coat based on some of my research into this area, which I discuss and demonstrate in this video.
This video series will take you from start to finish in the process of sculpting a shoe with 3D-Coat's various tools and techniques, including voxels, surface mode and even some "kitbashing" with shoe nurnies/greebles. We'll detail an outsole, create shocks, sculpt the body/casing of the shoe, sculpt seams, eyelets (for shoe laces) shoe tongue, and more. We'll use a number of established creation methods in 3D-Coat, as well as a few new ones.
You can read a little more about the video series at the following URL:

Very cool.. What did you use to animate it?
-
Wow, great job Garagarape, it would be nice to see a more of a rustic metal look on metal parts would really make it stand out I am sure you are probably not finished yet.
-
I hope you are going to do and animation with this..
-
I like the characters they turned great..
-
pretty cool Phil, nice and clean. Question, did you build all your parts in 3DC or did you bring in parts made in Lightwave for instance?
-
Nice work, it looks like it is sculpted out of stone..
Object moving in space problem.
in SOS! If you need urgent help for 3DCoat
Posted
Problem object seems to move in space without even touching it that goes goes for voxel as well as surface sculpting.. Weird, I don't know of that is a driver problem or what.
