The reason we're asking you to stick with the weapon provided is because we're going to be release a huge weapons animation pack feature these 5 weapons. Realistically you could create a different weapon for the class but it wouldn't be able to be feature in our weapon demonstration. We're bring in some amazing weapon master to put on the capture suit and bring these weapons to life and some of the winning characters will be featured in this.

I think your getting caught up in the needless details. Keep to the poly count. Mesh organization is unimportant. We would like a texture sheet, an image with all the textures in one so we can see them all at once. If submitting the maps is easier just do that. 12DAYS remain!
