  1. So I am trying to upload to sketchfab but it does not seem to work. Whatever I try, Edge shows this: This is a screensnip saying "this page is having a problem". I use my personal APi key of course but that does not work either This is a minor thing and I can still just manually upload to sketchfab, no biggy, but I thought I'd let you know
  2. So I tried it again after restarting my pc and it works now with the settings you showed, and even with the settings I want. So thanks!
  3. Thanks for the response! I tried almost every setting that you showed on 2023.25 but still nothing is created. I also tried it when running 3dcoat as admin and normally but that didnt work either. The only thing I couldn't copy was this: But that's because I have a 1440p monitor
  4. And when enabling "save lossless Images", nothing gets saved... Whoops forgot to add that I do disable shadows in the settings I had to go back all the way to 2022.24. for it to work again. Oh and before you ask, yes I tried the newest version too but doesn't work their either
  5. Back for round 2... Currently on 2023.16 and yet again whenever I render a turntable animation with the default settings in the default map and an mp4 file is created but has a bunch of errors and the size is 0kb. I can see images being generated but once done, they are removed (don't have the save copy enabled), and that's that.
  6. So before I did a fresh install, everything worked fine but now... it does nothing... no errors or anything, just nothing whenever I click Send. I've installed 3Dcoat Textura and Blender on the C:\\ drive and reset them both to factory default before I installed the applink addon. The exchange folders are in the default documents folder. None of the solutions I found worked so here I am, any suggestions on how to fix it? Cheers Windows 10 22h2 3Dcoat Textura 2023-16
  7. I've been using 2023.07 the last couple of days and so far I have not gotten any discrepancies on either side when using the freeze tool with symmetry. What I did notice was that merging down any layer that is not "standard blend" on a layer beneath will cause some strange artifacts. But I need to test that a bit more so I can reproduce and I will make another thread for that
  8. No need to share the file because I'm pretty sure it's because of an object I'm using, which moves the symmetry pane backwards (see image). However, I'm a bit confused because I can't be the only one who's had this issue before, surely I am not the only one that hand-paints asymmetrical objects in 3dcoat right?. I think a "Pick from Paint Object" would make things easier because my current workaround creates multiple texture files that I have to merge later. So I made a quick mock-up to show what I mean with a "Pick from Paint Object". Thanks in advance for your help!
  9. I don't understand. This is a square that is completely symmetrical and why does this happen with quick movements? It shouldn't happen with quick movements to frank. This is a really frustrating problem because sometimes I lose a lot of work because the freeze tool did not select what I wanted it to so I have to go al the way back to a previous save. Just moving my mouse more slowly and then checking the entire model again to check if I moved my mouse slowly enough is not a solution. I use the freeze tool a lot so this will severely cut into my productivity which I am not in favor of. I should be able to rely on this tool. I am sorry if I come across as rude but this has caused so much frustration in the past and I would like to see it resolved.
  10. The checkbox is enabled and I am in front view (alt+shift while moving) , I thought that it could be my mouse but it also happens on my Wacom. I also tested if there were any inconsistencies in polling of my mouses but they work just fine Again, I used the Blender default cube and transferred that over with the 3dcoat addon. I did not change any transform so it should be perfectly centered in all dimensions. I also used Blender's Smart UV Project to unwrap but normally I unwrap my objects manually and it happens then too. Oh and I forgot to show the backside, which is even worse so I added a picture but the video shows exactly what happens. In the video I use my mouse to rule out it being a pressure thing 2023-03-08 11-04-41.mp4
  11. How do I get to know the coordinates? And I already said that pick from bound box did not work, or at least not that I could see
  12. This has gotten me in trouble numerous times where I had to undo a lot of work because somehow the freeze tool did, or did not freeze whatever I froze on the other side. I subdivided a simple cube a couple of times and enabled symmetry on the X and the Z axis, other than that, I touched nothing. As you can see from this image, it somehow added a frozen square that I did not want to be frozen at all. So imagine me not noticing this until after I started texturing, that's not fun at all. I've filmed this too but if I can reproduce it easily on a cube, so can you. I guess the problem lies in that I am somehow too fast when selecting? Which is weird because it's all just numbers and mirroring numbers should not cause the program to have an error in calculating the vector I think. But then again, I am no programmer.
  13. As I said before, using pick does not guarantee that it's centered completely. Or maybe I am not seeing it, in that case please enlighten me
  14. update for everybody that needs it. I found a quick workaround. I use blender and the 3dcoat addon to send stuff over. Just send an object you want to be the center for the symmetry and then send the rest and choose the merge option.
  15. I made an object that is not perfectly symmetrical but that's okay, I can just ignore the parts that are not symmetrical and paint those with symmetry off... at least that was my thought. Turns out, symmetry takes the average of the entire object, which is okay I guess. The problem is that I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to move the plane to the center of a singular paint object. I tried using global and local space in the symmetry window but that does nothing and the same goes for General case. I tried to pick from bounding box but that does nothing either. The only option that works is the "Pick1" option but yea... because I have to click to pick, I can never trust that it's perfectly symmetrical. You know.. I pick a spot, zoom way in and find that it's not perfectly symmetrical. Is there a way to move the plane to the absolute center of a specific paint object? I am working in 2022.47 but please don't ask me to update, this often breaks more than it fixes or I lose all my settings... Not worth it unless you are -absolutely- sure a fix is in an update
