Colin, I actually did both. I tried opening it from within 3d-Coat and by right clicking on the file and selecting open with...to no avail.

Thanks for looking into this and for your counsel. It seems I have no choice but to start all over.

Thanks for the suggestion Geothefaust. However, I have uploaded the file to FileServer. It can be downloaded here. I created the model with 3D-Coat 3.5B(DX). I am running Microsoft Windows XP. Thanks again.

Sure... Unfortunately, I do not know of any free ftp or other such sits where I can upload it... Any suggestions?

Hello, I am hoping someone can assist me with this very frustrating issue. I have been working on a model off and on for the past week and my last saved file is about 30 megabits. When I go to open it, it takes a while to open and when it does, its empty. My model and all voxel layers are gone. I spent 4 hours on it today and I REALLY don't want to have to start over. Does anyone know how I can recover/open the file normally?
