  1. I love it - love ur works and the shaders are wonderful, can one help me, how can I add shaders? And what u need to do own shaders?
  2. hello, maybe its impossible, only a dream ... but I loved also silo (from nevercenter) ... its a real nice boxmodeling program, but since 2-3 years the the development is dead: ( ... but it could be a good additional to, a room who did integrate the retopology + boxmodeling from silo. maybe also some good things for the UV tools, from silo into 3D Coat and so u have also switchings between boxmodeling and voxelmodeling

  4. ok, I recognize that I can not work in the UV Room, If I did choose PTex paintmode. In the other mode e.g. vertex, I can work in the UV room

Have here problem to, I did made my UV 'Islands' in the retopo room (low poly from my Voxeltest) - after this I could paint in the paintroom and so on, but I couldnt take my UVs "Islands" from the retopo room too the UV-room. I did click on "UNWRAP" but nothing was done ... need tutorial for that ps. I also dont understand why I have 2 different UV sets UV set for retopo and UV set for UV room - and I can not find the name from UV set in the UV room from Retopo and I not understand why Retopo makes a *.mesh file and in in the UV Room I should opening a *.uv File I'm confused. EDIT - I did in my explorer rename the test.mesh file into test.uv and I could see my UVs in the UV room!!!!!!!!! and also a problem now, I see on my testing object (only a sphere) vertices in the painting/renderings
  6. how connect/build boarding polygons from different groups - correctly - if I with my cursor between them - nothing is happening. And my second question, why I see nothing in the UV Room? Whats the next step for the UV Room? The top of the cube is groupe one, but I want now building group two (green), but either I can build only also of the second side groupe one, I dont want it or group two - with green, but I can not make correct border. Hope someone can help me? ps. In Silo 2.2 (nevercenter) I can merge vertices from different isles, but here I dont know how ... sorry
  7. Hello guys, I have a nice painting texture, it looks really pretty on the paintroom. Very slimy/wet with nice textures. But in Cinema 4d the colors are okay, but the nice slime/wet reflections are not so good. Can someone plz help me, what are the best c4d setiings, for the 'same' nice result like in 3D Coat? I mind also, that "glanzlicht/glanzfarbe" is the specular.

  9. yes the same problem did I have too, and if I switch the symmetryplane off, the whole left or right (mirror-plane-clusters) is getting lost nothing is getting merged, even by 100% not with the symmetryplane
  10. I did clear my latest 3D Coat from my SSD, now I did download a other version (CUDA Version) - and I installed it not under C:/ (SSD) - I installed it under my Harddisk (D:/...). It freezes again. Its just a fast testobject, a simple voxel-sphere with some voxel-addings. And this program failed again I don't know why I will look after 3DCoat 3.5 and working with mid/low poly - I can do it also with silo
  11. EDIT cant understand, why I can not handle with an simple 1.000.000 highpoly object. My 3D Coat did freeze if I want make an auto-retopology I was making a test with an new object can not believe thats on my computer ps. with silo 2.2 from nevercenter I can e.g. handle with 1.5 mega polygons

Hey, thanks for your answers, I did reduced my object (little devil) from 10 mega-polygons to 5 mega polygons, even 5 Million polygons where too much for my computer, so tried also 300.000 polygons and 30.000 polygons, I see that 30.000 are good enough, but I did lost fine details, e.g. the tooths of my object/devil are flatten/destroyed what can I do? work in groups? tooths for high details? I did also see, that my old/good silo (from nevercenter) could repair (with the smooth tool) some wrong placed polygons. So I'm a little bit happier, but not so happy about loosing fine details e.g. tooths

Edit -> now after nearly a hour - I got the message - 'OUT OF MEMORY' But I can not understand it real, coz I have 16GB RAM, only firefox was opening (only a handful tabs), Kepass (a small keymanager) and only some regulary OS-tasks/processes. And also 16GB virtual RAM. What can I do? Should I expand much more virtual RAM? And if I should, is it good to make my virtual RAM on my second Harddisk (its a big big seagate HD with 2TB)? But my system/important programms are running on a SSD, but this SSD is small and its only 120GB big.
  14. Hello, I'm today very sad, I was made in the voxel-room a nice figure, my biggest figure ever. Its for the export to obj. around 10.000.000 polygons big / araound 200MB .... ok, now I wanted to piant textures and so on, in the paint room ... but 3D coat did freeze (I tried also the GL version) It doesent open this file, also after waiting 20 minutes, the DX/GL version freezes only. But I can not believe, that my computer is to weak ... Its brandnew, with an intel i7-2600k cpu, 16 GB RAM, Windows 7 (64 bit) and GForce GTX 550Ti A smaller obj with only 1MB I could opening/painting withjout any problem. I'm now disapointed

  16. Hi, I'm new in 3D Coat, my first, it only a test-object (vertex) - I did run Autotopology - and I painted it under ptex. But if I open the imported object in C4D, it looks only grey, without material/texture. And if I did open the saved texture maps, it looks damaged (pixelized) ... can somebody help me? Or should I take C4D Aplink Extenxion? Sorry for my poor English. Below I did create a screenshots, maybe some can help me. Thank you
  17. Hey, nothing I found here about the nic Blender-Add-on Blenrig... Did anybody use it? Also in a workflow with 3dcoat? Blenrig Add On I saw Blenrig 3.0 Videos 2 years ago, I was impressed ... Thats a reason (also with the new gui/and other add ons like Bsurfaces) - that I will learn also blender again.

Hello, I'm new in 3dCoat, but I can not start the DX 64 Version of 3DCoat, I have a brand new computer with 16GB RAM (from Kingston), 2600k Sandy Bridge, Windows 7 64 ultimate / SP1, Nvidia Geforce GTX 550 Ti (EVGA), Z68X - UD3P - B3 Mainboard from Gigabyte. The first error message was a missing 3dx9_38.dll File. So I looked at http://www.dll-files.com after this file, and I loaded it unter ....windows/system32. But I get now an other error message. Should I install th old DX9? The GL64 version does run, but DX would be better for my system, or? I hope that this can solve this problem: Direct X Web Installer
