  10. Hi i did a rough test sculpt, retoped it, marked seams, unwrapped, and exported to paint room using merge with NM (per pixel) and later as a lightwave object. but when i open the object file in lightwave layout it seems to be responding to the lightwave lights differently (screen shot). when i tried inverting X rather than the Y inside nodes the light works properly but the depth of the normal maps get inverted. can anyone help/explain where i went wrong with this ??
  11. Hi Milo I would say that if size and dimentions matter to you, and u use a lot of objects to add into a scene on a different package, then go for the a base poly version and start from there. it gives a bit of control over size. Secondly if are doing serious animation a lower proxy version is always good idea to have in hand
  12. it would be nice to see a new tool called melt. that automaticaly melts the voxels like the melting of wax in a burning candle
  13. awsome works marupura... big hats off to you
  14. Thanks .. that worked.. i keep on forgetting that some tools are common for everything. anyhow ..
  15. Hi its very nice to see the uv alighn tool by copy and pasting the similar islands. but the problem i am facing now is its very hard to select the underlying polygons of similar islands..a kind of rubberband selection would be nice or something like select similar islands would be great it would be also much faster for users like me if the align tools was something like select similar islands and pack rather the selecting all the islands one by one...so far both has its pros so and thanks and a ton of appreciation for such a nice user support software. keep it up andrew & team 3d coat

  18. well thanks for all it was a great information for me...its better to know whats happening
  19. does it have anything to do with the angle of polygons in respect to the UV..... if white/qsh is better if we need more details in particular area incresing the polygon area is the better way rather than increasing the whole textures so
