  1. hi can anyone help me, what the gradiants in the UV actually mean. there is a white to red one and also a blue gradients going on . is it the level of relaxation or the difference in axix of the UV to object? thanks

  5. i would like to know whats the difference between normal map for max and normal map for maya. is it possible to convert normal map for max/lightwave to maya in 3d coat....also how can i know whether 3d coat is taking my normal map as for maya or lightwave while importing in 3d coat.......i get into problems with the normal maps along the seams..... can anyone suggest any solution for this .... thanks in advance ....
  6. i am new to texturing and i would like to know what clusters are...........and how does it relate to UV mapping and things.
  7. i would like to see a toggle material overlay ke y so that i can on and off the material and also paint more precisely. as i am using a ver high resolution texture it takes lot of time to on and off the material. the transparency is good but i think the toggle key would be great!!!

  9. The latest addition to the Retopo toolset is just great, coool and very quick! really cool and very handy Is there any way to fill all the points marked rather than RMB click to each four points I dont know whether adding this feature would help but i love to see how it works thanks

  11. hi 3d coat is advancing day by day, actualy now on hourly basis. thanks to you retop tool is really great. i am a new user to this forum and i would like to have the polygons deleted by brush. it would be very fast if polygons would be erased by brush rather than cklicking one by one. and also if there is some thing that could remove a group of polygons rather than clearing all the mesh by clear mesh tool thanks a ton for developing such a software cheers! bye
