  1. @Ben Houston: Is there a recommended browser for using Clara? I tried with firefox and it was really slow. some recommendations?
Danke nochmals
  3. Danke dafür, ich finds ne gute Idee mit dem schneiden, hast du irgendwo einen Spendenbutton?
  4. thanks for that, i recently won a non Commercial license of Substance Designer in a challenge. Time to check it out.
  5. Like the Uniform, it Looks very acurate, wondering how you get this clean edges of the pockets... im always failing on these
  6. Zbrush educational nearly costs as much as 3DC, so there is where they get their money ^^
  7. Thanks learned alot from you , there are some quirks left here and there, but im leaving the sculpt for now, preparing for the coloring. Found a solution for left hand btw. That would be some Amazons, i guess Gone for the light version, only the weapon (without the women )
  8. im reaching the final steps of the sculpt, finally Ive no idea what to do with the left hand. ^^ (maybe dragging cerberos along ^^) Mace seems to be too long. so now, im afraid of coloring...lol
  9. yeah its a nice app, but modo has now doubled the price since 501. it will probably end like C4D, Maya, 3dsmax, ^^.
  10. lol just noticed that Modo merged with The Foundry(Autodesk 2) that explains the price changes. LOL
  11. its like the Worms in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Swarm_(novel)
  12. Found some time to proceed with sculpt Thanks for the tipps BeatKitano, i worked over the body like you suggested, i like it more now Also did some accessories (gloves.), that was really ....cumbersome o_O, i guess a little boxmodelling would be helpful, if you want to stay in 3DC for all parts, but i had also the idea to do "boxbodelling" via retopo, not tried yet. Also changed the lionshead, first one was too much, "The lion king" - style ^^, i guess it will need further work, i have a angry look in mind for the lion. Worked also on lions Hair.
  13. This should be clear for a user, btw. There are alot functions which seems to be available, but dont work if you try them, because you didnt use the "right way" for that function. (e.g. right cllick menu "merge" or "intersect" for volumes on voxtree in surface-mode.... works only properly in Voxel-Mode)
  14. @Francky, did you try Curve-tool for hand & fingers? that would be also good for your arms.
  15. Hey Franck, i can only encourage you to take part in this challenge, because you get here also professional help to speed up your progress. For my part, I'm only an enthuasiast/ hobbiest, but learned a lot in sculpting 3DC from the guys here in last weeks, and during this competition. This is a great way for learning the program or even sculpting along the way. @ajz3d: pose is looking good, fits well to a spy [edit:] a little update on face/ beard/ hair -hope hes not looking like a wise man this time . some work on belts and cape
  16. update: first cloths and different hair and beard approach, worked also a little bit on right hand [edit:] update 2 @ BeatKitano ( your next post): Yeah, he looks a bit older, but i thought Herkules without a beard is not a real Herkules ^^ , but it is the same Face behind the beard as before. love your armor btw.
  17. @ Carlosan and Ajz3d Thank you guys for congratz little update on the body-proportions and orientation, but a big one for me... im finally more or less pleased with the results now, only the hands left. But now i will concentrate on accessoires, and cloths...
  18. @carlosan: like the body so far, but you can also adjust face proportions, nose is probably too big. How about this reference: http://www.toydealer.de/xtcommerce/popup_image.php?pID=1974&imgID=3 little update on my own body proportions, former post had too short legs ^^ and other problems, now it looks a little bit better. C&C welcome, if you see somewhere problems with proportions. ( elbow and hand needs some work) BTW: Do you also loose your edit-function on this forums when switching between different pc/mobiles?
  19. oh that pillar was an easy one, 1/2 hour or so.. would be cool to have the boolean possiblities in surface mode, too. Thanx for pose advice, i tried a different one today considering your tipp, i think i will stay with it, and change it only slightly (hands and arms, maybe some bending on upper body ). This time i ignored pose-tool completely for posing. Switched to voxels, cut my body in parts, transformed them and then merged to new pose, smoothed and then sculpted more muscles and mass, edit: edit2: new update:
  20. @Beat Kitano: I dont feel like you are spamming , i always look forward to your updates, almost missed your different progress steps, because of the editing . You changed the face again, didnt you? @Xenodile: Ah ok that why it works for you, on my pc working voxels (in high res) is so sloooooooooow... @ajz3d: Youre welcome, too bad there was no suitable pose for my project Came up with a new pose, looks better for me, but looks static... enough for now, the posing is killing me... ..worked on some decor for scene ^^ All hardsurface stuff is done in voxels with primitives and a little pose then changed to surface mode and sculpted a little bit. All Elements in scene are unfinished of course
  21. thanks for that tipp, with the Silhouette, i think thats what i will do. Speaking about poses, and references ... im reposting here a link from the german section (monkeybrains post) http://www.posemaniacs.com/, good 360° anatomy pose references
  22. @Beatkitano: Love the new pose and the new face very much. Armor, also is looking great already. And thanks, i dont like to pose a finished model, because i probably will have to work over it again... dont need double work^^ I think i will redo my pose, too... it looks not very believable from some perspectives. @Xenodile: Thank you, good start on head, do you sculpted the hair in voxel or in surface mode with "muscles"?
  23. update early pose and early body. I have a special pose in mind, interacting with enviroment, but we will see if that will look good or bad^^ p.s. How can i post a larger pic here? [edit]: an here is the mace, spikes to come
  24. @Carlosan: Like the Progress, face is looking much better without that mask :-) But you should work on forehead and skullcap, i think it should be bolder an more angular
