  1. Im ok with that, too bad I will not make it in time myself, to busy in buying a house and the financial loan... I will work on it in my personal WIP. @Javis: Just a short proposal for the poll, please dont forget an official Deadline for poll closing.
  2. Thats a cool finishing Malo And overall good work in your wips, thanks for participating in the contest, even if there was not much frequency. Maybe the guys here got tired over the last contests. Hopefully it was not due to the Topic. But hey, there is one great entry now
  3. Looks great Malo, nice retopoes, too:) Im looking Forward to the final Image.
  4. great detailed Sculpting , You can upload your image for exampe to postimage.org an then link it to this forum.
  5. Hi ancient regime, Thats not a real retopo-mesh in modo, thats a mesh generated by the boolean-Modo-plugin MeshFusion, using not destructive boolean operations (and then merged). That mesh was imported in Zbrush and decimated/retopoed in zRemesher, to get rid of the tris around the seams (merged areas).
  6. http://3d-coat.com/turntableID=139163593048 some sculpting on a ancient well (without the rope yet)
  7. Yeah, but then Andrew has to charge at least 600-700$ for 3DC @MeshFusion: since i have modo now, ill probably buy it in the future, but what have really makes me sad for 3DC, how awesome ZRemesher is for Hard Surface Retopology on the MeshFusion(ed) models. Zbrush beats here 3DC in its (former) home game (at least for HardSurface).
  8. Hmm i dont see that solving my problem. Here is what i want for the zipper elements. Maybe im just missing something Hope illustration is clear enough Thank you
  9. is it now released? Because it is announced about 10 months ago or so and still was not finished ^^
  10. @Malo: Thanks, Its a nice way to improve look of the model, but im not completely satisfied with the handling of the spline-curves. Dont know if there is a way to avoid the bending/distortion of the spline elements. I havent found a solution yet. If anyone knows how to get the spline element accurate and straight, so that the elements itself dont get distorted in any way, please tell me. I maybe just dont know the right settings here. @monkeybrain: thanks
  11. Dont trust the drapery... , but it looks somehow ok Added also zippers, used Modo for set up two basic beveled cuboids and used them as a spline. Fastener will be added with 3DC
  12. WIP 3: Winter Coat Voxlayer on merged standard Mannequin Artmans presets (Thank you Artman for those ) 3DC improved even on thin parts, its a pleasure to work
  13. he will kiss the "cup", just like in my previous sketching. based on the real ski challenges, where you often see winners kissing their crystal globes
  14. Thanks guys for posting @Malo: Nice Progress on the Head @Monkeybrain: You picked a pose already, that means you will not use symmetry.. Good luck. I had a hard time with my Hercules Entry without using symmetry, but it helped somehow for personal progress. The left shoulder looks somehow out of proportion, take a look there. Heres my first WIP-step... As always... Beginning with the head All done in 3DCoat. Aiming a more cartoonish look this time. edit: quick test for icy "crystal 3dcoat-cup"
  15. Yes of course That rule seemed to me like a interesting task, to see in how many creative ways a simple guideline can be interpreted. And as a side effect this will be a tribute to that great software Btw: very good start
  16. i recommend to buy through Javis Jones http://javisjones.com/products-services/ He accepts Paypal, great Guy
  17. Looks good Monkeybrain, Try the blobtool for the skate-"blades", like Taros showed in his axe tutorial, because they need some more sharpness.
