  1. I do confirm. I have strange artifacts when I try to erase parts of 0_oldschool_Paint layer after reproducing all of your steps.
  2. I'm suffering without drag and drop operations for image files. I want to drag and drop a texture file to Smart Materials window and it would create a default material with this texture, so I can paint on my model with this texture. Manually creating material for any single texture is very annoying task. Mantis report.
  3. Split tool allows you only one selection after what you will have a new object from your selection. He uses Voxels Hide tool to hide many parts of his model and then he uses command Object-ify Hidden, which creates a new object from all hidden parts. I watched this moment couple times in his video to figure out what he is doing here and why.
  4. Could you try to scale your model up and bake AO again for the test, please?
  5. 3DC 3.05.07 works fine on GTX 660 Ti with drivers 353.30 on my work machine with Windows 7.
  6. I have found a bug. 0_oldschool_paint smart material disappears after closing Smart Material Editor by pressing Cancel button. Could someone try to reproduce it, please?
  7. I have noticed this too. I think 3DC has to use windows Temp or TMP folder instead.

  9. I want to bump up the question with the difference of shadows in DX vs GL versions in render room, realtime render. digman had the same problem in Linux version early. I upload this gun model so you can test it. Future_gun_assembled.zip
  10. Thanks! I have updated drivers from 347.88 to 353.30 and Realtime render works now.
  11. All panoramas from 3DC list and any other .hdr or .exr file cause crash. I have not had such problem in previous versions of 3DC.
  12. I have found that it crashes when I have 'Use Panorama as Environment' checked in.
  13. 3DC 4.5.05 crashes all the time when I turn on realtime render in render room. All four versions of 3DC crash - DX64, DX64CUDA, GL64, GL64CUDA. My video card is Nvidia GTX 660Ti. It crashes even without any model loaded. I start 3DC, go to render room, check in realtime render - crash. I have sent a bug report. Edit: I have found that it crashes when I have 'Use Panorama as Environment' in render room checked in.
  14. Taros, thank you for your AUTOPO settings! It is getting better now.
  15. AUTOPO still needs some more attention. I try to make some simple shapes to make AUTOPO but it fails all the time. For example, I merged sphere and box together (not symmetrical) and try to make AUTOPO for this shape. Sphere part has open or intersecting polygons all the time. I try to make it without marking high density and without guides.

  17. Would be nice to have drag&drop operations for the textures instead of click&find&select.
  18. I see VoXRay tool previews a cross section of the voxel object but when I hit 'Clone' button it duplicates the original object. What does this tool do?
  19. I have checked and everything works fine. What format do you use for export? I tried .tga and .psd formats. If you use .psd format then open your .psd file in Photoshop to check the color map.
  20. How can I use angle method? Where should I enter angle numbers?
  21. I don't think this is awesome when there are so many features in the program but we don't know where to find them in current UI layout. The more I use 3DC the more I am disappointing how all program menus are scattered all around.
  22. I think this color swatch menu changes UV map colors for both, retopo and UV map but you have access to it only from Retopo room. Would be better to have this Color menu in UV room too.
