  1. There was a window Textures where I added my custom map to texture with. I am missing this window now in 4.5beta17. Where should I add my textures now? I have tried to add texture to Stencils but this affects bump only. Same is with the PBR materials. I have created a new PBR material and added color texture. When I try to paint, there is no color on the model. Color channel is active though.
  2. I don't have (trial) text in my 3D-COAT 4.5.BETA17 (GL64) and (DX64). When program launches it shows (demo) in program title but then (demo) disappears in 2-3 seconds. Maybe this text stays longer in case of bad connection to the Pilgway website.
  3. If I imported model from 3ds max for UV mapping it means that I will change UV maps. What is a point to change UV maps without auto applying them during export? When I try to close the current model with UV sets not applied after editing then 3DC asks if I want to apply them. Why is there no such question when I try to export model using Applink?
  4. 3DC is very unstable and constantly crashes when I try to load/unload geometry for UV mapping. When I have some geometry loaded and try to load a new geometry via creating a new scene program crashes. I have to close 3DC and open again almost every time before opening a new geometry. Apply UV-set button is very annoying in UV room! I have already lost a lot of time making UV-mapping in 3DC and exporting model to 3ds max using Applink. And almost every time I forget to press this stupid button! If I make UV mapping in 3DC then 3DC have to apply UV mapping automatically before geometry export. I am sorry, but the current implementation is really annoying.
  5. I have lost few hours of my work making UV mapping on objects imported from 3ds max and exported back to max after UV mapping. I forgot to press damn button "Apply UV-set" before each export... :-( Don't you think that Apply UV-set has to be pressed automated before export? That was a silly waste of time.
  6. 3DC crashes when I try to bring any model for UV mapping from 3ds max to 3DC using AppLink and there is already another model in UV room. Program asks if I want to start a new scene, I agree and then 3DC crashes. Can someone check this, please?
  7. If during render I change program window size I loose my model. And only way to get it back open this file again. Am I missing something or this is a bug? 3DC 4.5 beta15 (DX64)
  8. Thank you very much! Now this pop-up window where I can hide reference object has a name "Paint objects" though.
  9. Thank you for answer but nothing happened in both cases. The reference model is still visible in viewport. I don't have any objects in VoxTree list. There is only Root layer.
  10. How can I hide the reference geometry in Retopo room? I need to preview my low poly model without reference geometry. Or I would like to have reference geometry a bit transparent.
  11. When I import an OBJ file into sculpt room I have all normals flipped. It there a way in 3DC to invert normals?

  13. My reported crash when delete layer after PBR material applied has been fixed. Thanks!
  14. I have found an instant crash which happens on two different computers. Crash happens after applying PBR material and then deleting layer. Repro steps - watch video 1. Apply one PBR material 2. Apply second PBR material 3. Move model inside PBR Material Preview window 4. Delete layer - CRASH!
  15. I have started to paint on Layer 0 by accident. Is there a way to reset it back to the default?

  17. I do agree with AbnRanger that 3DC interface is so frustrating and needs some attention with good menu/tools names and sorting them in right groups in interface menus.
  18. There is also some polygon explosion in case of Smooth brush. Take the Smooth brush and make it bigger than the ear deepening on the head and click on ear. You will see the polygon explosion inside the head.
  19. New Split&Joints tool in Voxels modeling (surface mode). When I check in 'Complex joint profile' to setup a custom curve I'm having a problem to move the very right point on the curve. Sometimes it moves but usually it does not move.
  20. Probably Andrew can make brush strength depending on voxels resolution on which brush works at the current moment. In this case we can always keep brush strength within 0-100. So, if voxel resolution is 1 and we set brush strength as 10 when we increase voxels resolution on x2 it will internally multiply brush strength x10 and get finally brush strength as 100 . Voxels resolution x3 - Brush Strength 1000, etc.
  21. Can someone check the Shift tool in Voxels room, please? I cannot adjust the Strength for this tool and it is very high. Steps to reproduce: 1. File-->New-->Voxels Sculpting 2. Chose any base shape 3. Select Shift Tool in Surface set. 4. Try to use and try to adjust strength. Version 4.0.05H
  22. Would be nice to combine Freeze and Hide commands under one menu or make a separate Hide menu similar to Freeze.
