  1. Quality work here. Your attention to detail and realism creates a fully composed characters  from all directions. My only nibblet is some characters seem a little stout in height for the realism you are achieving. IE the Skeksis from the dark crystal felt like it would tower over most creatures...

And well, The dragon with the texture work was just an awesome piece.  Keep going... great work! :)  Look forward to checking out your thread.

  2. Another tips:

If you want to paint non-organic things. You can use 2d-grids in 3DC.

Note: 2D- grid is usually used combine with curve tools(Draw with spline, putting text on curve and putting picture along spline), with Snap to grid on,you can snap the points of the curve to the 2D-grid, then you can draw very exact shapes. For example:

thanks for the heads up.... Look forward to see what 3DC3 will bring.

  3. Like in photshop where you can lock scaling proportionally with the shift button....but also lock strokes vertically, horizontally, maybe even diangonally for the pen or whatever tool you use. It would be nice for non-organic modeling. By the way your program is simply incredible. I do have Z3. 3dconnexion control was what brought me over here. Very intuitive GUI. I'm sure 3DC3 will rock. You could use some quality Alpha packs to go with the upgrade might help other artists see the potential... cause I do. - thank you for all your hard work. - G
