edit image placement pannel doesn't show up on pen tablet

Hello, I'm new to this program and one trivial problem is annoying me. Whenever I use 3d coat on pen tablet, all things work properly but one thing; I cannot edit image placement, Whenever I clik background>edit imgae preferences or click hotkey it doesn't show on the display. It appears when I change my view from tablet to monitor, however it's quite bothering. So if anyone knows how to deal with this problem, can you please let me now how to solve it? Thanks -
I don't know if this is where this needs to be reported, but I found a bug in 3.7.18H[CUDA] 64-bit. If I want to change the background settings, I can do so in the preferences just fine...as in going from Vertical Gradient to Background Image to Panorama. However, if I go to the background settings under the camera dropdown at the top right of the screen and try to change them, nothing happens.

Hey 3DCoaters! HELP! PLEASE! Sparked up 3D Coat v.3.7.04 today to work on a new project. I went to choose a photo as a background reference while I in "front' camera position. Instead of being able to choose the image I wanted, 3D Coat decided to throw in the default blue fractal background image. Then... BLAMMO!!!!!! KAPLOOEY!!!!!! My entire system flew south for the winter after that. System wide crashing with my dual monitor set up flickering constantly. After de-installing and trashing every preference I could find. I was left with this image after reinstalling v3.5. 3D Coat and my system were running BEAUTIFULLY for the past year. No hiccups whatsoever; worked like a dream. So it's safe to say that choosing a background image probably caused all of this. Here are my specs: MacBook Pro Intel Core 2 Duo-2.66 GHz 8GB of DDR3 RAM OSX 10.5.8 NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256 MB NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT 512MB Model Name: MacBook Pro Model Identifier: MacBookPro5,2 Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo Processor Speed: 2.66 GHz Number Of Processors: 1 Total Number Of Cores: 2 L2 Cache: 6 MB Memory: 8 GB Bus Speed: 1.07 GHz Boot ROM Version: MBP52.008E.B05 Please let me know if you need any more info and many, many thanks in advance.
