Hey guys, New here! Just thought I'd share some of my experimental stuff in 3D-Coat, and hope to get some critique / feedback! I'm experimenting with a good workflow using 3D elements to be incorporated into 2D concept work, and trying to achieve a movie still quality style. So I'd love to have any feedback you guys have! Hope you like the work so far! Mohzart

For anyone interested. As an old 3D Coat user who just began using it again, I've found a neat workflow for programs like MoI and Rhino and SketchUp which don't create decent UVs to be able to use PBR shaders and textures for OBJ models using 3D Coat. I apologize for it being long and a bit scattered. I'm still trying to find my way around 3D Coat a bit. Please let me know if I got anything wrong OR I'm doing something 'the long way.' Thanks!

Some orthos rendered in keyshot (toon shader) and the 3/4 view rendered in 3dcoat and its excellent PBR system. As a concept artist I love the flexibility it gives me. -

This is the final result, rendered in Keyshot and painted over in Photoshop, now onto other shores I go :P -
Hey guys, I need to use Keyshot to render a gun with different textures. Had a lot of fun painting it with 3d Coat, I can export all the maps in Marmoset and it works really well. But for many reasons I need to render it Keyshot and not in Marmoset, and Keyshot just allows me to load a color, a specular and a bump map..The difference between what I get in 3dCoat and in Keyshot is night and day...Anybody has any idea on how I could proceed? Thanks a lot ! Thomas

Hello 3D Coaters! Is there a way to export a model to keyshot and have your vertex paint show up (no UVs)? In keyshot I can see the model but no texture. I know how to do this in blender (export as fbx, and plug in the 'Col' etc) but is there a way to do this with keyshot? My goal is to find a UV free workflow. Any knowledge cakes will be appreciated!
