Hello everyone, -I was wondering how to fixate my light. Right now it moves when I'm moving my camera. I tried locking the environment (Camera -Background - Lock Environment) but I guess it has nothing to do with it? -Other than that, I like the program but I have a very hard time finding a clear documentation / help database for these 'Noob' questions. I have the feeling other programs are more in depth about different functions and options. Or maybe I'm just looking in the wrong place? Thanks in advance,

Hey all, I recently upgraded to 4.5 and am a little confused about some of the changes made to the viewport. Previously, I could adjust the light from side to side, and up and down, but now I can only the rotate the light around my model. This normally isn't a big deal but when Trying to view the bottom of the object or get a better handle on seeing the normals, not being able to rotate the light up and down is a real pain. Am I doing something wrong or possibly is there a setting to not lock the light? Also Is there anyway to bring back the ambient light adjustment while painting? In the previous version I loved varying my ambient light and primary light around 40 give or take so I can see some lighting on the model, but not have the top of the mesh blown out and over lit. Thanks for any help. Currently I just toggle back and forth between versions but it gets really annoying after a while.

In the render viewport when you select a light colour it gives you the exact opposite of the colour you choose. This is using the HSL1 colour picker. I have tried others and they all give the same value. However it's not quite so simple as that. If you choose pink at the NE setting of the hue wheel you get the correct colour. Equally if you choose green in the SW quadrant it seems to be correct. Other positions are not the colour you choose. I am using 4.0.04A on a Mac Pro with Mavericks 10.9.1
