I am slowing "running" away from Microsoft and its painful because so much software that I use has been written for windows including Zbrush (no linux support). For some very annoying reason when it comes to creatives everything seems to locked either to Windows or Mac (overpriced and overrated), I dont know why, its very irritating. Because its difficult, for now I have set up a laptop to test run Daul boot with Linux and windows (dual ssd and dual boot)! Some years ago I purchased a copy of Zorrin Pro (not my idea) and decided to use that mostly because I paid for it and it was Linux with training wheels.
Up until now I have only been using 3D Coat for its far superior retopology tools. Tried to open 3D coat on there after the extraction of the files and it just doesnt want to do anything. I dont know why. I get notification no application installed for "shared library". Then I get "MIME Types required" requesting additional software. Is there a difference between how Pop Os runs and Zorrin? I dont particularly what to have to change it, it take me ages to get Daul boot to work.
