  1. Hi Am I dreaming here, or am I right in that you can add more to your selection with the Lasso tool...? What I mean is, when you use the Lasso to select multiple faces, is there a key you can press so you can lasso select some more faces in addition to the ones selected? I coulda sworn you could... In Maya, you hold Shift I believe. When I've tried a combo of Ctrl, Alt, and Shift, nothing seems to happen. The most I can do is deselect faces when going over new ones.
  2. Another noob q! I tried the "E-Panel" to be able to paint specific polygons on the included robot model. However, I'm trying to figure out if there is a way to select multiple polygons and save them to a group. For example, the "swiss cheese" armor on the back of the robot's hands - I'd like to carefully select and group all the polys and then paint it, rather than carefully painting one poly at a time. Also, I'd like to be able to go back later to one of these groups to continue with weathering, etc. I know this may be a basic thing but I couldn't find a reference to doing it, and am not sure what it's called (if it's available!) thanks, Andrew
