Hi. I'm brand new to 3D Coat and want to learn it so I can teach my students. I've downloaded the free trial so I can use it at home, but when I try to launch it the program crashed before it even loads up. I've tried launching both the OpenGL and DirectX versions but the same thing happens to both. I'll attach a screenshot of what happens when it crashed to this post. I hope someone out there can help me with this as I don't have any idea of why this might be happening. I'm running Windows 10. Thanks.

I hate to be a nuisance from day one but I've installed and reinstalled the program and turned off my Firewall and antivirus but it still won't open up with any of the four options. I have Windows 10 so I waited and used the Start menu to try each. It just gives a "Can't open log file." !!Crash!!.log response for all of them. I have an AMD Radeon R9 200 series with 3 Gigs and 16 gigs of main ram. I just updated to Radeon Crimson 15.112 so it's OpenGL 6.14.10 and OpenCL 2.0.4.0, if that helps. Again, I just bought the program and am unable to launch it even once. I contacted support and Andrew suggested this but it made no difference. With the time change it may be a while before he can get back to me again. "Please delete folder MyDocuments/3D-CoatV45/ Possibly some files got corrupted there so it crashes. Try no-CUDA version." The only file in that folder was a single xml. I deleted the folder as suggested. It still crashes with same error trying both no-Cuda. Even tried CUDA again but same. I can't find a log file anywhere either. Please note that I did install the 64 bit program on my E: drive, not the C:, but I do this with all other programs without any problem most of the time. Any help appreciated.

Hello Guys, I'm using Windows 10 and some menus seem to be not doing anything at all. Like when I try clicking on Help. Some only seem to work sometimes.. like edit->Mesh & Texture. I also am unable to change texture resolution to anything over 2048.. despite having the pro license (from steam) maybe I am missing a step, but it doesn't seem to matter from where I try changing the texture size. It still seems to be stuck to the free version limit. In any case, my point is that I get the feeling the program is erratic in Windows 10. Sometimes I can export textures, but in the beginning I could not. So my question is, is this something you are aware of? Because it is quite troublesome not being able to use textures above 2048 (in my particular case) Here is hoping I don't stumble on the missing step I didn't take, right after posting this.. I have a bad habit of doing that Best regards/ Mike
