  1. Hi guys, I just created a second part to my Lego Man modeling in 3D Coat, where I create UV's and add some textures. Below is a link to both videos. Modeling in 3D Coat, as well as UV's & applying textures. Part 1 - Modeling in 3D Coat. Part 2 - UV's & applying textures
  2. Apologies in advance if this topic has been previously discussed and/or its regarded as simple newbie question as i am very new at 3d coat.I have been using 3D coat for a few weeks solely for uving(at this stage) with no issue. Due to a computer crash i had to reinstall the program , since then uving is fine unless I apply "planar" to a uv shell and or the entire model. When this occurs the model, part becomes transparent in the main preview window(please ref to attached pic). This was not the case previously any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated thanks.
  3. Im using 4.7 and when I bring a mesh(symetrical) from Maya with good normals (and no inversed normals - also did freeze transformations so no black areas), do the UVing in 3d coat and take it back to maya I get blue shaded uvs along with the red shaded uvs. The red shaded uvs are from the duplicated and mirrored meshes. How do I make sure the all the uvs are blue shaded???
