Posing sometimes prior to merging a model into the voxel mode or surface...

You will have some clean up in the voxel room of course as the posing is not based on a bone deformation system...

This also means some poses would be harder to do...

I noticed I messed up the right hand, just did it real quick and was not watching too close.

I sometimes use it to do some tweaking after I've merged a model into the Paint Room. It actually has some good soft selection capabilities to pose a character, if need be. I can do all of that in 3ds Max, with it's sculpting/modeling tools, but the performance is much better in the Tweak (Previously called the Sculpt) Room.

i see... ^_^

Are the steps import model, tweak, save model, re-import ?

ty !

Depends on your workflow...

My example:

Import low polygon model as a reference mesh into the paint room.

Pose the model in the tweak room

Export the posed model

Merge the posed model into voxel mode or surface mode for the sculpting work...

off topic question:

If i understood well... tweak room and paint room work together.

Request to merge Tweak room inside Paint room like another set of subtools have sense ?

Regards !

Definitely. That was one of my requests when the subject of UI restructuring came up. Hopefully during the V4 cycle, everything will be merged into one logical environment (no rooms), using Mudbox as a good example to go by. With an Outliner panel, you can access whatever asset you are need at any given time.
