Hello All,

I can't seem to toggle my axes or my grid, tho you can see in the attachment that the x/y/z axis labels are visible. I'm wondering if it's because of my graphics card?

I'm running 3D-Coat-V3-7-18C on

Processor 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7

Memory 8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3

Graphics AMD Radeon HD 6770M 512 MB

Software Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5

My Grid 2D mode does work, though (see 2nd attachment). So I'm quite confused as to what's happening here :). My Viewport settings are also attached.

Thanks,

Gamal

Hello All,

I neglected to mention that the specs listed above are for a mid-2011 iMac.

I installed 3dC on my mid-2009 MacBook Pro this morning and it seems to be running fine, displaying grids & axes.

This MBP has the following specs

Processor 2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

Memory 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3

Graphics NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256 MB

Software Mac OS X Lion 10.7.4

So is it safe to assume that the problem is the AMD Radeon card in my iMac? Should I be having this problem or do I need to change a setting. It seems odd that the newer machine would run the software with less fidelity ...

Please let me know,

Thanks,

Gamal

Hi Greg,

The DMG file that I installed is "3D-Coat-V3-7-18C.dmg" ... that's the same file that's available here at the beta download page, I believe. I've clicked the checkbox to enable the beta tools as specified on the download page. Is there anything else I need to do? It's still not displaying the axes or grid, unfortunately.

Have you heard of this issue with AMD processors before?

Cheers.
