Advanced Member chingchong Posted November 8, 2012 Advanced Member Report Share Posted November 8, 2012 In this outstanding Indie-RPG they created an engine, in which they use procedural animations for characters in combat. Check it out and make it happen http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1473965863/sui-generis
Advanced Member chingchong Posted November 23, 2012 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted November 23, 2012 to resurrect this from the death....i d like to see this funded there is one tier on which you can design a weapon for the game, maybe thats interesting for some here. only 6 days left, hurry up if youre intrested. this guy wrote the amazing and somehow groundbreaking engine on his own, and the plans are outstanding for the game. Member Ruth Spacecookie Andrews Posted November 25, 2012 Member Report Share Posted November 25, 2012 This looks really nice. I'd back it if I had any money. The possibility of creating graphical content is something I look for in a game these days, so it would be good if that were implemented in this game when complete. Advanced Member chingchong Posted November 26, 2012 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted November 26, 2012 i think they will release a standalone editor afterwards, when game is done. Its actually worth even back for that incredible engine. the aspect, that he ( Madoc) wrote the engine alone, reminds me somehow of Andrew.... there are really smart people out there... On the Forum he mentioned also t hat they wont using hardware anti- aliasing but another software approach which will give better results... such things are really amazing regarding this project btw : only 2more days
