Advanced Member alvordr Posted January 10, 2013 Advanced Member Report Share Posted January 10, 2013 Is it just me or do the real time render and turntable renders flicker?
Carlosan
do use less then 360 rays per frame for turntable render ?
Advanced Member stusutcliffe Posted January 18, 2013 Advanced Member Report Share Posted January 18, 2013 Isn't that because it is always rendering and constantly updating itself?
Advanced Member alvordr Posted January 18, 2013 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted January 18, 2013 I've tried it both ways...most of the time I get flickering. ...and yes, it might be because it's always updating, but do you really want flickering in your turntable renders? Contributor TimmyZDesign Posted January 18, 2013 Contributor Report Share Posted January 18, 2013 While moving around in the viewport with "Realtime render" checked, rendering will update continuously. There will be a lot of flickering. Uncheck "Realtime render" if this is bothering you. Check "Realtime render" only if you want to see what your final rendered result will be. Turntable renders: 1) Fast rendering with flickering: Set "Rays per frame" to a lower number. 2) Slow rendering with no flickering: Set "Rays per frame" to a high number. Advanced Member alvordr Posted January 18, 2013 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted January 18, 2013 I'll try the render techniques. As far as moving the viewport around, it sometimes flickers, even when I'm not moving it.
