I am a Zbrush user who has a Educational license of 3Dcoat, I am thinking about upgrading to Pro but !!! Its £200 so I am umming and arring about the move.

So my question is why should I buy 3Dcoat, are there any other Zbrush users who use both and why ?

Thanks for the advice with this

A lot of changes/enhancements in 3D Coat are a direct result of ZB users here submitting feature requests and offering their input...especially in regard to presets and sculpting brush behavior. I'm very happy about that, as it's a much better sculpting application because of it.

I use both Zbrush and 3D-Coat.

Overall I think 3D-Coat is easier and faster to use than Zbrush.

On the other hand, Zbrush still has many very useful features, so I sometimes send my models back to Zbrush. Mostly I prefer to stay in 3D-Coat if I can.

^ Same here. I use both too. I agree with all statements above. Another thing that is really good in 3D coat is the UV tools, a lot better control and very nice to use. Texturing, with Per Pixel at least, (I haven't used the other modes that much), is also very good and integrates with photoshop beautifully.
