Smooth surfaces not so smooth anymore?

I noticed the surface of the model is getting what can only be described as a very, very slight "oatmeal" texture.

Little spec sized imperfections almost like specs of sand under a silk sheet to use another analogy.

This is horrible...

Smoothing does not help. It's as if voxels under the surface have hardened and will not yield to smoothing like they used to.

I still have the trial version. I'm waiting for version 4.

Anyone else noticing this?

It's really discouraging.

I don't ever recall seeing this "texture" before.

Any helpful insight is really appreciated. Thanks. :)

This is something that I personally feel could use more improvement. However, I do understand that the last few updates have really pushed smooth into better effectiveness. I suggest trying to use Smooth All under the Voxel menu at the top. You might use it a few times before you really see a difference.
