Javis
Hi there! There are two ways you can do this: 1) Retoplogize the sculpt in the retopology room, then merge to the paint room via the menu Retopology>Merge. This method allows you to create images to export for use in just about any other application. 2)With your sculpt open in the vox room, go to the paint room, turn on beta tools in the menu Edit>Preferences>General>ShowBetaTools (tick this on). This last option will allow you to vertex paint, and only render engines that support vertex colour maps will render these.
Member Dan Allender Posted February 24, 2013 Member Report Share Posted February 24, 2013 Here is a method I use. After I am done sculpting, I use the vox tree to change to surface mode. I then click on the paint room. export the model as a obj file, then start a new project and import object for painting, this will autocreate your uv maps so you can paint and then save the model again. Most people like to create their own topology and uv maps, but I am not that good at that, so this is the method I use.
