Carlosan
A wish It would be nice if 3DCoat could link with Luxrender for a realistic render of model. Luxrender seems a nice one, because is free and the fact it works on Windows,Mac and Linux platforms. http://www.luxrender.net/en_GB/index It would be nice if you could render it from within 3DCoat as an option within the 3dcoat renderer. We only need to export a lux render scene in .lxs file format The last version offer hybrid GPU and CPU rendering And the dev. version 1.3 have RT... is amazing (look at weekly dev test at LR forum) ty in advance Document Scene file format overview http://www.luxrender...format_overview

Advanced Member michalis Posted January 12, 2014 Advanced Member Report Share Posted January 12, 2014 Not a bad idea at all. So what is needed to export the scene? Camera (depth obviously) Lights textures Meshes What about materials? What about box mapped textures?

So nothing "direct" for now... Edited August 29, 2014 by Onkelpoe
