Advanced Member Marc Wakefield Posted August 16, 2008 Advanced Member Report Share Posted August 16, 2008 I thought I would post another example of a game character I have just finished using 3d Coat recently. The initial lo-poly model was created in Wings 3D, The UV's were made in Roadkill and the rest was done in 3d Coat. My entry forum is here: http://www.gameartisans.org/forums/showthread.php?p=57025 Is there any way 3D Coat could incorporate a glow map? It would be pretty useful. Just make a new layer, disable everything other to prevent distraction, and then paint a black and white (or whatever you need) map onto your model. Then, in your preferred game engine, apply that image as glow map. i.e the engine lets stuff glow on white, then paint your map white in glowing areas. mike
