Advanced Member Kargall Posted July 2, 2013 Advanced Member Report Share Posted July 2, 2013 Hi,I do not come here often or only when I have a problem. So today I change it. Here's a wip of a character I called Dez. All parts are modeled with 3DCoat a very perfunctory manner and subsequently redesigned in photoshop and SAI PaintTool.I also show a finite party made this way picture. The advanced version of Dez will be made at 70% in 3DCoat special thanks to Javis Jones

Advanced Member Garagarape Posted July 2, 2013 Advanced Member Report Share Posted July 2, 2013 Cool sculpt! I see you chose to make the character more aerial than in the Artwork. What will be the mecha stuff used for? Hope to see more soon.
Advanced Member Kargall Posted July 3, 2013 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted July 3, 2013 (edited) Thank you , What will be the mecha stuff used for? This is to add bits of mechanics to desired locations. Then I redraw on top to bind together. Like here with the arms or wings In the images above there are also ships Edited July 3, 2013 by Kargall

Contributor TimmyZDesign Posted August 1, 2013 Contributor Report Share Posted August 1, 2013 I like it! Very well done! It is interesting how you create the base forms in 3D and then paint over it for the final image. I was wondering if you ever create the whole thing only in 3D (modeling, texturing, rendering, etc.) without painting over it at the end (to be used for animations etc.)? Advanced Member Kargall Posted August 2, 2013 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted August 2, 2013 @Timmy: thank you! I hope I have correctly understood the question. I very rarely use textures. I let the white model and I draw on the rendering. I modeled the main and sometimes some additional elements that I apply over the rendering @Fantome : Salut le breton et merci
