If you don't like Alphas, please use releases Many bugfixes, several improvements in retopo tool - you can pose retopo mesh before importing and there is new method of merging in scene - like a skin. If you have downloaded 2.10.09 you need to replace 2.10.09 with this update - there was severe bug with undo.
