Denis' doodles

Here is something I've been working on for awhile. This is a recreation of something I found over at Deviant Art. Link This dude has some really nice work. I'm just a hobbyist, and I don't have much imagination, so all I do is recreate. All done in 3D Coat V4.

Here is something I did in 3D Coat recently. Mostly inspired from the pirates of the caribbean. The background was obtained from a free wallpaper site.

Great start on these.  The legs are a little short.  I like the pirate scene, but his face is squashed.  It might also benefit from a sail in the background or ropes hanging down and a barrel or two?

Here's my attempt at Steampunk. It was done primitives, booleans and some of tinker"s greebles.

nice! I like the steam punk, but i think there is too much empty space in the model.

And steam punk usually has less welding and more screwing pieces together.

Also for the lady in the first post i think her neck is too wide. =)

Here's something I did completely in 3DC. The last scene I used a photo from http://naturespicwallpaper.com/. I Can't use this scene for anything commercial because of the copyright. You can tell the Dwarf doesn't fit perfectly but this is just for fun.

Denis, each of your new sculptures is better than preceding ones. Excluding the pirate, who I unfortunately don't like (he's out of proportions).

The steampunk vehicle and the dwarf are really nice!

May I suggest sculpting a dwarven woman now? I always wondered if they too have beards. ;)

Something done mostly in 3DC & a little with Shadermap2. I'm trying to get to the next level in texturing. Don't really understand Photoshop. Looking forward to some new tutorials.

Something done in 3DC that was inspired loosely by a pencil sketch I found on Deviant Art.

Here's something I recreated from this art I found on the web. I changed the background but I tried to keep the building close to the original.

I gave this one my best shot for realism. What do you think? Everything done in 3DC.

This was inspired from stills from the award winning movie Pan's Labrynth. In fact the background photo is from one of those stills.

Denis, about the phone, the scale doesn't go with the hardware on the door. but is otherwise, realistic.

The creature looks made of various materials but the eyes and lips don't correspond in texture with the rest.

Is there any way to adjust the scale of this preset leather?
