Member bperes Posted March 10, 2014 Member Report Share Posted March 10, 2014 I can't seem to paint out artifacts that exist at the seams like this: I try to flatten but I kill my normal map, and it leaves them intact. Also, I've tried painting in the texture editor but no go. It won't clean up. Any ideas? Thanks!
Javis
There is a bug the last few builds when dealing with baked maps, where you cannot edit the baked map. You might be able to erase but not paint.
Member bperes Posted March 12, 2014 Author Member Report Share Posted March 12, 2014 Thanks Javis, but this isn't a bake. I imported an FBX from something I did in maya, and through the process of freezing, filling, etc, I ended up with seam artifacts that I can't reach :-(
Javis
Ahh, well that makes things a little more challenging! Would you mind posting your file for us to look at? If it's private just use Dropbox or something and send it to me directly via PM. I'll be happy to inspect it.
