Member kalwalt Posted March 28, 2014 Member Share Posted March 28, 2014 Hi to ! i m not sure that my question fits in this forum, but i am experimenting with the lathe tool and i see that is the load button to import pre-saved curve, May i import only the .xml type saved with 3dcoat or it is possible to load other file types? should be fine load .svg or .ai files? does it already exist such a feature? Thanks
Member kalwalt Posted May 23, 2014 Author Member Share Posted May 23, 2014 Maybe this question may appear more a feature request than a simple question... anyone has an idea for this?
Reputable Contributor AbnRanger Posted May 24, 2014 Reputable Contributor Share Posted May 24, 2014 It's only intended to allow the user to reload a curve they have created previously. You can import a spline, such as an svg file or .eps into the scene from the E-Panel (E key), from the "Load Shape" command/button.
Member kalwalt Posted May 25, 2014 Author Member Share Posted May 25, 2014 thank you @AbnRanger for the answer! Understood, but should be fine, i think, to import .svg files or .ai files, i think i will open a feature request for this....
