New Member ahollinrake Posted April 28, 2014 New Member Share Posted April 28, 2014 Hi! I'm pretty new to 3D Coat and use it exclusively for hand painted textures. I've been doing the same thing for ages but on my latest model the export texture options are greyed out (I have the limited student steam edition). Since I only have two layers and they're 2048x2048 I'm presuming I'm trying to export a 32-bit displacement. I have no idea what that is or how to get rid of it so I can export my texture. I've googled around to no luck. The exact wording is "You cannot export 32-bit displacement." Any help would be more than appreciated. Carlosan
Choose TIFF or EXR as export file extension for displacement.
Member shermancg Posted May 16, 2014 Member Share Posted May 16, 2014 I have a similar question. When I press CTRL+P to send my work to Photoshop, I get the same error. However, in my case I do not want Displacement. I am only painting color maps on low-poly stuff. If I get this error, how do I get rid of it so I can send my work to Photoshop?
