Javis
I agree. Procedurals are a must. Maybe this pass, as Andrew is working on the Paint room and tools.

Advanced Member GeneralAce55 Posted May 9, 2014 Advanced Member Share Posted May 9, 2014 this feature is in the to do list i dont know the schedule time Is there any place we can see this to-do list so we don't keep accidentally bringing up things that are on there, or is it more effective that we do so anyways because that shows our interest in that feature? Javis
Is there any place we can see this to-do list so we don't keep accidentally bringing up things that are on there, or is it more effective that we do so anyways because that shows our interest in that feature? Bingo on the latter. The list is in Andrew's head, sometimes he tells us his plans (for example procedurals, or a nodal shading system, or multi-UV support), but most of the time it's locked away in his skull. It's a good idea to just voice concern for what you want, Andrew really does listen to users, so the more voices for improvements and/or features, the more likely it is we'll see that feature. Contributor Laticis Posted June 5, 2014 Contributor Share Posted June 5, 2014 I would like to see this taken one step further and into procedural brushes. Imagine a stone crack brush that varies on every stroke or stamp.
Member Ashe Posted September 24, 2014 Member Share Posted September 24, 2014 (edited) Which could, by definition, be done with a procedural noise generator. In my case, I'm not even worried about Nodals.... A first step would be- well, all the procedurals from Steve Worley's old book....
