Contributor ajz3d Posted June 18, 2014 Contributor Share Posted June 18, 2014 Blocking goes very slow as I'm not used to work exclusively in 3D Coat. Normally I'd quickly do base shapes in a poly modelling program and then bring them to 3DC. But oh well, rules are rules. Carlosan
great Malo ! about rules: This is a sculpting challenge. No need to texture it, but if you want to do it, sure do it. im thinking to retopo and paint my model too... if time allow me... or polypaint... could be nice

Contributor Malo Posted June 19, 2014 Contributor Share Posted June 19, 2014 Thanks cleitus and carlosan @carlosan Yeah, but i want to switch for texturing to substance designer and for rendering to blender. I only want to create a texturebase in 3d coat and all the other stuff in different softwares. But first i have to get rid of some bugs or other things that stops me now. Contributor ajz3d Posted June 21, 2014 Contributor Share Posted June 21, 2014 Great crossbow Allexr. I'm going to finish my pistol later because I won't have time to continue next week. Besides, I'd like to do it my way - using SubDivs, so I'm afraid I'll have to leave the contest. Fantastic work everyone and good luck! Contributor ajz3d Posted June 30, 2014 Contributor Share Posted June 30, 2014 Wow! Great work everyone and some awesome hard surface sculpting skills to be seen in this thread. And because of this it was a very tough decision to pick my favourite handgun sculpture. If I could I would vote on all participants.I was hesitating between Cleitus for his modern Beretta and Allexr for his steampunkish crossbow. And because I'm a little bit into historical stuff I eventually decided that my vote will go to Allexr. Good show!
