Challenge rules:

1. Model your favorite chartoon character LITTLE DIFFERENTLY!

2. It can be

FUNNY: unconventional looks, funny situation, be it a unique sense of humor

DARK: show the evil side, whether it be undead or demon, or other negative appearance

SCI-FI / HIGH-TECH: Imagine what it would be in the future, or maybe half robot body, or other technical stuff

only one thing matters: it must be EPIC!!! :) and is recognizable to the original chartoon character

There are no inspiration images!

Everyone has to rise to the fantasy and the imagination!

3. Sculpting and (optional) texturing: only 3D-COAT is allowed

4. Compositing/post processing: authorized

Challenge deadline is last day of December

Have fun! Competition up!

I think I might have to have a crack at this one.

I read Gulliver Mickey to my sons some evenings before bed.

It is a Disneyfied version of Gullivers Travel's starring the famous mouse himself!

One of the best scenes is a giant Mickey held down by loads of ropes, surrounded by mini people.

Imagine if this was real! Imagine if you were one of those little people and a giant walking talking half human mouse thing wearing clothes washed up on your shores!

I am thinking of upping the realism using the features of real mice and humans....

Could be fun if I get it finished... ;)

Is this OK? I know you say no inspiration images but this will look pretty different when I am done. I may even (slightly) zombiefy him.

Apologies for the delay so far. It has been a very busy month.

As usual, I am going in fast and furious. ;)

Anyone else got anything to show? It is a cool theme.

The extra time will be appreciated as I also need to create loads of little people.  ;)

It is completely up to you guys though.

I wonder why more people didn't opt in for this one.

lets change date and see whats happening

i think its ok to wait until the next version release -with PBR included-

so... a new challenge with any hardsurface theme will be -may be- more popular.

Any chance you would share with us how you achieved that look Beat? Seems like everything I try to sculpt in 3d-coat always end up lumpy/bumpy but this is anything but.

Oh yeah, also, awesome work :D
