[SOLVED] imported obj scale is miniature and model is white ?

i imported a model from Modo, into voxel mode and it shows me the required polys as 12? my character has about 1200 polys...

 

the only way i can get this model to be workable is by clicking on the autoscale? i want my object to be the exact same scale it was in modo, no resizing. what am i missing here?

 

also, when i try to apply a shader to the model, it wont let me change the shader, its just always white? can someone explain this?

The scale is only visual. You could scale it as big as you need, to work with it.

If you export your model, it would be "rescaled" to the original size.

 

You should be sure, you have applied your model after import, and switched to a different tool as the merge tool.

Then you should be able to change the shader.
