With some models, as I'm marking seams, 3DC will suddenly freeze and go into "Not Responding" mode for 10-30 seconds. It happens when I move my cursor over very specific parts of the model. Advanced Member paulrus Posted March 6, 2015 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted March 6, 2015 I thought about autosave too, but it's way too frequent and specific to be autosave. As far as I can tell, there's nothing different or wrong about the parts of the UV map that cause the issue. This particular model came from Modo and I kept the UVs in tact when I brought it in, but then realized they were a mess and cleared the seams. But honestly it's totally repeatable. If I move my cursor over 1 part of the model, 3DC instantly freezes for 10-30 seconds - other parts of the model are totally fine.
