New Member CountChocula Posted April 21, 2015 New Member Share Posted April 21, 2015 I'm new to 3dcoat and downloaded the 4.5 trial to see how well it works for tiled sculpting. And I haven't seen much about it on youtube, but there is a tiled sandbox option (3 x 3 tiles) that I tried, however the implementation of this is quite weird. When you sculpt there is obvious seams, as seen here What good is tileable sculpting if there are seams?
Javis
Hi! Could you post a little more about your workflow, what you're doing exactly and what you're using will help us help you find out what is going wrong for you. A video would be especially useful.
Advanced Member ghib Posted February 16, 2017 Advanced Member Share Posted February 16, 2017 Hi, I'm getting this also. Any of the surface tools used on the tiled boxes does not automatically wrap around to the opposite side. I hate to flog a dead horse but I'll link to this post I first made in July 2009. I presume that the Surface Sculpting - Tiled Box was Andrew making a start on this idea but it seems abandoned.
