Member Silicon Power Posted April 21, 2015 Member Share Posted April 21, 2015 (edited) Hi there again, sorry I'm new to 3D-Coat. Today when I opened 3D-Coat I've mentioned gloss doesn't work anymore! If I put gloss on 100 or 0 there isn't any difference! I don't know why please help if you can. Thanks. Javis
Go back to a build that it does work on, 4.5.16B should do it. But also I need to say the obvious, it is not recommended to use beta builds in production.
Member Silicon Power Posted April 22, 2015 Author Member Share Posted April 22, 2015 You mean it's a bug?
Javis
It sure seems like it, but also know that 4.5 is a work in progress. Not everything is going to function as expected, some things will break and other features are still to be implemented. It's the unfortunate nature of public betas that these are all exposed. The upside is everyone gets to try new features all the time, and in that, we always recommend never using a beta build in production. The last stable build we recommend using is in the 4.1 line, not the 4.5 line. Also, please do file the bugs you encounter! It really helps to ensure that they are fixed. If you've got a scene that allows us to replicate the bug, that's great too, supply it with the bug report.
