Some hours later i came back to get ready for baking with the mainpart. But suddenly the mesh was destroyed. Contributor Michaelgdrs Posted May 31, 2015 Contributor Report Share Posted May 31, 2015 Can you disable the snaps in general? Snap to grid etc etc. Also , try to export and see what it gives you. It may be only a visual bug or something.
Member Kappikarpfen Posted May 31, 2015 Author Member Report Share Posted May 31, 2015 (edited) i extracted the parts, repaired the mainpart and made an new clean savefile. Its all fine now and i could bake it. My theory is that it has been triggered by my improper handling with the "apply symmetry" function in the retopologymenue and having different retoplayers active. edit: yes i could move the snaps and it was no visual bug. Member Kappikarpfen Posted May 31, 2015 Author Member Report Share Posted May 31, 2015 it says scale is 1.0 but the scene parts have different scales. From 15x to 32x
Member LucidMovement Posted July 7, 2016 Member Report Share Posted July 7, 2016 I had a similar issue. Multiple retop groups as well. I had the layer hidden, and used snap on another layer and later when I re-enabled that layer, that was what I saw. It really does seem like a bug to me. Seems like some tools work even though the layer is hidden?
