Member 3DNut Posted June 26, 2015 Member Report Share Posted June 26, 2015 What is the workflow to use the Strokes Tool on cylindrical forms when the symmetry plane goes down the middle of the cylindrical form? I have tried drawing straight through from outside to outside and it appeared that I had doubled up geometry. I tried just drawing from the outside of one half towards the center and that looked messed up too.
Reputable Contributor AbnRanger Posted June 26, 2015 Reputable Contributor Report Share Posted June 26, 2015 I don't use symmetry when working on forms like that. Why? Cause it's someone redundant. It's already creating geometry all the way around. I just put the cross-section (stroke) down the center if it needs to be perfectly symmetrical.
