Member gerkx Posted July 15, 2015 Member Report Share Posted July 15, 2015 Hello All, I'm new here, working on one of my first projects in 3D Coat. I'm in the topology phase and am having a problem. I've autotopo'd my mesh, and on the X centerline/mirrorline, I have these sporadic chunks of extra polys that right on the axis, facing the x axis. I've attached a screen cap for reference. Any suggestions on how to avoid/remedy it? I'm on 4.5 b20 if that's of any use. Thanks in advance, Pat
Carlosan
Hi Will you please test the new 4.5.06 version ?
Member gerkx Posted July 17, 2015 Author Member Report Share Posted July 17, 2015 Hi, Unfortunately, 4.5.06 is producing the same results. I've checked to make sure it isn't something with my model being off-centered, or something like that... Also, the extra poly's aren't selectable/editable. they're just there, along the center axis? Member gerkx Posted July 17, 2015 Author Member Report Share Posted July 17, 2015 I was able to fix the problem by turning off symmetry and deleting all the polys on the other side of the center line. Now I can't seem to be able to figure out how to duplicate/mirror the good polys back across?
