New Member robleger Posted July 23, 2015 New Member Share Posted July 23, 2015 Hi folks, I've just started learning 3D Coat and am going through the official Rat beginner tutorials. In part 5, during the AUTOPO process, my Density Shading looks all black / no shading. This makes it basically impossible to draw the Flow Guides in the next step. I'm sure it's just a display option, but I cannot find it. I'm using the 4.5.03 CUDA GL64 trial version. Thanks a lot, Robert
Javis
Hi! Try using the non-CUDA & DX version instead of the GL version. I've got a feeling that may be it.
Reputable Contributor Solution digman Posted July 23, 2015 Reputable Contributor Solution Share Posted July 23, 2015 (edited) Two other ways... 1.Switch to the PicMat_Clay shader. Painting density will not be pure black on the model. Then before baking to the paint room switch back to the PBR Shader. 2.Go to the retopo room first and place your strokes before auto retopoing. 3DC will keep the strokes and not delete them. Then go back to the sculpt room and run the auto retopo routine. Edited July 23, 2015 by digman
