Member SimonWM Posted September 11, 2015 Member Report Share Posted September 11, 2015 (edited) I haven't used 3D Coat to work on DAZ Genesis textures since several 3D Coat versions ago. I remember I used to import the model as OBJ using the "Model for Per Pixel Painting" option. On the current version when I import the model and try to paint on an area the stroke occurs in multiple parts of the model due to overlapping UVs. How can I fix this? Carlosan
Fugazi3d on Youtube did a few tutorials on Girl 4 but you should be able to adapt it. https://www.youtube.com/user/Fugazi3D/videos
Member SimonWM Posted September 11, 2015 Author Member Report Share Posted September 11, 2015 As those are old videos working with older versions of the applications they are no good to me. The problem is that my workflow broke when using DAZ Studio latest version with 3DCoat latest version.

Advanced Member Tarby Posted September 19, 2016 Advanced Member Report Share Posted September 19, 2016 Genesis3 uses UDIM tiling. There's an option in your Daz obj export dialogue to collapse the UVs, which is an alternative to Carlosan's suggestion. It would also give you a collapsed set of UVs to import into Genesis within Daz Studio, provided you export the base mesh without SubDiv (which you probably already know).
