Advanced Member Mighty Pea Posted September 24, 2015 Advanced Member Report Share Posted September 24, 2015 Hey guys, I need to paint transparency, which I've traditionally always done by erasing layer 0. Now, whenever I reopen the file layer 0 is fully gray again and consequently lost all transparency. Is there a new way to do this, or is this a bug? Solution Javis Posted September 24, 2015 Solution Report Share Posted September 24, 2015 If you hide layer 0 before export, you'll get transparency, assuming you've left some "holes" in the other paint layers. Sounds like you have. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk
Advanced Member Mighty Pea Posted September 26, 2015 Author Advanced Member Report Share Posted September 26, 2015 That works! Was there a change in how Layer 0 works? Because I used to do it by selectively erasing parts of that, but it seems like Layer 0 is protected?
Javis
I'm not entirely sure on that to be honest, I've always had hit or miss erasing/painting on layer 0 so I've stayed away from doing it that way. A few years ago Andrew told me to hide layer 0 instead, and ever since I've had no issues. Glad it helped!
